Ah, where to begin? Conductors are self-centered, violinists are stuck up, violists are, for lack of a better term, stupid, cellists are emos, bassists are really dumb(what do you get when you have four basses? Two brains!), flutes are airheads, horns are annoying, and percussionists are shady.

drummers (percussionists) are flaky

Not sure about strings, but how do you know when a singer is knocking at your door?... They don't know what key to use, or when to come in!!!!

And you can make a guitarist play quieter, by putting sheet music infront of him!!!!

People tell me that the really serious violinists are stuck up snobs....but that not true, I'm a really serious violinist!

At a lecture with a conductor I went to a long time ago (I think it was Graeme Jenkins), he told us the true meaning of the 'conductor bow'. He faces the audience; indicates the players on his left, then those on his right, then takes a bow himself. In his mind, he's saying 'They're not very important, they're not very important, it's all about Me.'
So, here's a stereotype for you; conductors are self-centered.
