I twirl also and it is definitely a challenge. My instructor always says twirlers are very smart because they have to be counting in their head all the time, know exactly what's coming next, and focus on what they're doing at the moment. Some of the advanced baton twirlers are the smartest and hardest working people I know. Keep twirling and have fun!
