Well, when I was 7 my mother began to teach me piano, I played for 11 years. When I was 8 she taught me guitar which I've kept up until this day (15 years). I also began singing at the age of 8 (trained singing in a choir) and I will NEVER give that up. The most important instrument I play is cello. I picked it up when I was ten and got my degree in performance. In between I've learned the steel drums, bass guitar, drums, violin, viola. I love playing strings the most.

Cello has a very mellow sound but the size makes it very difficult for speed and double stops (two notes at a time). But its so satisfying to play, especially solo or in a string quartet. :) I love how you have freedom of movement when you play strings. I love how the bow arm catches the eye as well. If you're going for aesthetics.

Thanks. Your instruments sound pretty neat as well:) Report It

I have played saxophone for the past 6 years. I can play any saxophone you put in my hands, no matter what it is..soprano is my favorite. Playing sax just makes you feel.....i dunno...Jazzy. It is such a beautiful mellow instrument and it is so fun! At our school, they call us the sexyphones, because we are the bomb! We dance in the stands, and we rule the jazz band, and it is just so fun! It gives you so many feelings.....jazzy, beautiful, mellow, at peace, and just overall exhilarating!!!! It gives me a rush everytime i pick my sax up.....Sorry for getting carried away...i love music and i love my saxophones....all of them....

    Guitar, bass, and the ukulele.
But I get the most reaction out of playing the ukulele.
Everyone in a room will smile when they see someone playing the ukulele.

Guitar, and piano, but lean more toward guitar.

I play French Horn, and the rest of the brass instruments.
The sound is awesome, and I like being able to control the resonance through the bell.

Wow, you must be very talented, I play classical and acoustic guitar.....I'm a string person....I would love to play the violin, I always talked about it, but just never bought one....and now the years have flown by and I'm not sure if I could handle it now. Have you ever wanted to play guitar, it's a great instrument...lots of fun to play both classical and acoustic !!!!!!!!
You must be a musical genius, or have perfect pitch to be able to play so many, good for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play piano, congas, and a little drums. I enjoy playing the piano the most, but I'm best on the congas. I've been playing piano for eight years. Playing the congas for about two years on and off and I just started on the drums last September.

guitar. bass drum. mallet instruments. and it is always just fun to sit behind a kit and bang on things. i am really just a guitar player though everything else is just required at my school. you guys play way too many instruments.

i play the piano and guitar
    thats all

I played the alto sax for 3 years and this is the first year playing tenor sax.

i play the flute. and i know how to play the piano because my dad taught me when i was little, but i dont get lessons or anything so i really dont play the piano. i think you should play the flute. its really a beautiful instrument.

I play the piano (7 years), flute (6 years), saxophone (4 years), electric guitar (1 year), and mallets (3 years)...
And since you asked about the saxophone.. i love it. I learnt the saxophone after the flute so it was super easy because thay have similar fingerings. But its a nice sound.. awesome for jazz! And since you already play a reed instrument you should pick it up fine.
