Im moving and everyone wants me to sing at my church??

Question:i love singing god gave me a gift and i love it thank you god
but i cant sing in front of ppl i have stage fright
i sing all the time
sometimes at school i was in choir and did a couple of solos and everyone loved it
but my eyes were closed the whole time i was shaking i freaked out
and i want to sing at church so bad but how can i get over my stage fright
i sing in front of friends all the time
and well no one else plz help me

Oh, I know how you feel. I use to have really bad stage fright when I was young (I'm 19) because I used to be afraid of messing up.

Here are some things that helped me out. Don't think of messing up. Why? Because if you think about it, then you'll do it! Also, since God gave you this amazing gift, take the time to thank him for it while you're singing. At the same time, just have a great time and if you do goof up, people won't even notice! Trust me, it really works.

Just make sure you take a deep breath and maybe a glass of water to help give your throught some moisture that way if you sweat to much out of anxiety you might not faint

Join the church choir. That way you have some anonimity. If the church doesn't have a choir maybe you could start one.

hmm maybe you should try karaoke at public places so you can get accustomed but remember you may never overcome stage fright but you can learn gto control it and use it to your advantage, just concentrate on how good you are and even pull that trick that everyone does imagine people in their underwear, that should do

Go to Karoke nights somewhere. At first, it will be frighting, but the more you do it--the easier and better you'll get.

when you get up there you sing to the Lord forget everyone else you pour youre heart out to the LORD like david did he danced with all his might he didnt care who tought what he was praiseing the Lord ! you can do it dont be afriad satan will try to make you back out go get em you can do it :D!

well i cured stage frieght.... and dont laugh..... i drank way too much water before going on stage. so the whole time i was more worried about not peeing my pants rather than the people looking at me. it really worked. i dont want you to try this. but i hope this helps some how.
