Epi Les Paul custom vs ibanez rg?

Question:Hey ,which guitar do you guys think is better for all around type of music the epiphone les paul or the ibanez rg. Also do you know any other good guitars for $700-$900?

Well first off you might want to try looking for yourself:

You could just get a full blown Gibson (well, it will say Gibson on it). Epiphones seem to have varying quality, as do all guitars made overseas (except Japanese ones, which are made better than their overseas counterparts). If you are getting an Epiphone I would recommend testing out the one you plan on getting, as in that exact one, before buying it. I don't know if the Epi LP customs are made overseas too, but if they are I would try the exact one out. If they aren't, disregard what I said.

I'd go with the Epiphone every time, and I love the way the Les Paul sounds. It's one of the most diverse and adaptable guitars out there.

Epiphone Les Paul especially the Studio model is really awesome. I own a real 1963 Les Paul and I repair them also. I was really surprised at the fat sound of the Epiphone Les paul andthe action and response.
Much better by far, than Ibanex. Plus, your Epiphone will gain invalue over the years.
