A type of xylophone but the bars can be removed?

Question:I know of this xylophone type instrument, which is exactly like the xylophone but you can remove the bars. Also it has a different name which I dont know how to spell but sounds like orph. Can someone please tell me the name of this instrument?

Those are Orff instruments, named after Karl Orff, the 20th century composer and music educator. The bars are removable so that you can get very young children to play faster--you just take away any notes that would sound wrong.
