Here's what I'd do, go on google and type this : Native American Performers in the Philadelphia area.....they will probably have lots of links for you to go to....and from there you can see if they are interested in the education part of your question. Good luck, I've yet to not find something that I was looking for on google. In the time being I'll keep checking around and see what I can find.....right now I have something very important that I have to do for the next couple of days...so I'll get to it as soon as possible !!!!!!!!

try looking for aboriginal fellowships or community centers. post an ad on craigslist. look for dance schools. check with the performers union and agencies (you never know) check with your state for locations of reserves near you. contact the band office. with a little diligence you will get what you need.

the aboriginals in north america have been given the short end of the stick for ages. very little of their history is discussed in high school classes. the aboriginal people were here before the white man, and the importation of the black people. 300 years later and the ****** (dictionary ... being a member of the black peoples of humankind), now have black history month. the natives have bows and arrows, and are shown being chased and shot in movies and tv. natives are still treated like second class citizens and they need to be recognized properly. good for you and your school to try and educate as they should. the natives have a great history and cultural past. the school will have much to learn.
