There are the basic requirements that were mentioned before, transcripts that shows your grades. But, you'll need to have some stellar audition pieces. You'll have to display your vocal range and ability. Sing contrasting selections and know the composer, name, period and EVERYTHING about your music when you audition. Yes, there's an audition. You'll probably have to take a music theory exam too.

Talent.....you'll have to do an audition.....their not going to want you in performing arts school if you don't have any talent, what would be the point, I wish you luck, if you have the talent or potential, they'll accept you !!!!!!!

Actually, chessmaster1018 isn't fully correct. It's takes so much more than talent. A talent is just some skill that you're really good at. But to go to a performing arts school, you need to have so much more than just a skill. And they'll ask for your high school transcrips as well.

You better think about this very hard before you try to tranfer somewhere.
