Question:For my Epiphone les paul?

I've always used Seymour Duncans.

If you want cleaner tones, think about a Jazz pickup or the Pearly Gates.

The JB humbucker is a good all-around pickup, it's slightly higher output than the jazz and Pearly Gate pickups.

You can go higher-output for rock and whatnot, like the Duncan Custom or Duncan Distortion, or go straight metal with something like a Dimebucker or Invader.

Take a look at those Active Blacks, they're supposed to be really sweet active pickups.... as good or better than EMG's, or so I've heard...

Seymour Duncan......of course I'm going to recommend his because he's my cousin......a couple of times here I've said my nephew, I don't know what I was thinking. He puts out the Humbucker.....and his pickups are superb.....he's been doing this since he was a little kid, he grew up in south Jersey, and now lives and has a large business in California....but every time that I hear something of his new or old all I can say is wow !!!!!!! You can't go wrong with one of his products, good luck to you !!!!!!!!

Seymour Duncan are nice but if you want guts, get DeiMarzios.. I have an old 1963 Gibson les paul and put them on . Awesome ballz
