Ibanez Digital Auto Tuner - How to use it?!?

Question:I recently bought a guitar and an Ibanez Digital Auto Tuner came with it. (see link for image) Any idea how to use it? I tried messing around with it but its kind of confusing for a beginner such as myself. Thanks in advance.

#1 make sure your battery is good.

#2 turn on the unit

#3 if using an electric guitar, plug the guitar's cable into both the guitar and the tuner. Turn up the volume on the guitar.

If using an acoustic guitar, place the tuner near the sound hole of the guitar

#4 strike the lowest string. If the string's note is flat, the lights to the left of the center light will illuminate. If the strings note is sharp, the lights to the right of the center light will illuminate. Adjust the string's tuning key until only the center light illuminates.

#5 Repeat step #4 for all other strings

Didn't you get any instructions with this, you should have, why not contact the company where you got it and ask them.....mean while go on this site, http://www.8notes.com/ click on the guitar and you'll see where it says electronic tuner....or tuner....and one will come up on the screen so that you can tune your guitar electronically, hope this helps. Don't forget contact the company, you'll see at the bottom where it says contact us and tell them your problem !!!!!
