Anything by the great Astor Piazzola will knock you out :) "La muerte del ángel", "Adiós Nonino", "Milonga del ángel", that's powerful tango!

I recommend the recording made by Charles Dutoit with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra or the guitar recordings made by Baltazar Benitez or the Assad Brothers.

It's definitely not traditional but it's certainly passionate and very dramatic.

"El Tango De Roxanne" from Moulin Rouge is, in my opinion is an amazing piece of music.

But, like I say, really not very traditional.
