How easy is it to play bass guitar???

Question:okay i really wanna learn how to play bass coz i lovee alicia simmons and lyn-z and mikey way and pete wentz soo u see y i wanna learn lool =P any way is it easy to learn ???

you really got to be determind and practice..but its not too hard, you just gotta be able to keep a beat, and if you practice a lot you'll be able to play pretty good.

Not all that difficult (it's got two strings less than the guitar, at least most of the time it does) but you do have to have a sense of:

a.) rhythm, and

b.) harmony.

You also have to have a good ear, i.e. be able to listen to what everyone else is doing and work out a good thing that will work underneath them. This is why bass players tend to be good composers and arrangers as well.
