I couldn't speak English and I speak Cantonese here in China Hong Kong.
And I am sorry if this hurt your ear.
I just sing this for fun and nothing else.
I wish to have you comments....

Dear chocolat...:

Yes of course you can sing! You sang in a language totally foreign to you and could be understood. What an accomplishment! I think I'd prefer to hear you sing in Cantonese so that I'd know you were singing in what is familiar and comfortable to you.

For the most part you sing in tune (singing the notes accurately). Most likely you would do well to join a choir and if learning to sing well interests you, you should study voice with a good teacher. You can learn to sing more freely and expressively. This takes time. Also with a voice teacher or vocal coach, you would hopefully learn how to pronounce every foreign word accurately so that you sound authentic.

Be encouraged. Keep on singing - even if it's just as a hobby.

Best wishes.

No Man....you suck.
Try the harmonic instead.

more practice ma'm...

It's ok. You sound a little flat. When you went high, you missed the note completely. It's a nice hobby, but I don't think it's your calling.

your alright, better than me.
