yes!OK! because in the Philippines all the ages can start modelling. This is how to prepare for modelling first, be confident then, read books for modellling last, learn how to model and by the way is it about fashion?

The first and most important thing is to have an agent....and he'll want you to have a portfolio.....have you been watching " Americans Next Top Model ".....wow, who knew that it involved so much work.....If I were you I'd tape that show, there's a lot to be learned from it !!!!!!!!!! Good luck to you, worry about finishing school first.....and pursue this in your free time....I'm sure that there are links on the Internet that teach you all the things that you need to know in modeling.....after high school why not consider modeling school !!!!!!

always have a plan b. i'm an artist but can't yet make enough money to live off it. make sure you can still pay a mortgage when you're older, just in case, if things get quiet on the modeling front now and then... but yeah, get a portfolio together, find out who does the shoots that you admire and send your stuff to those agencies. magazine and catalogues can be a good starting point, and sometimes you can find out about work from local photographers, who may also be a good foot on the ladder.

First thing to do: avoid all rip offs and scams.

That means, primarily, don't sign with a fake agent. You can always tell a fake agent, they're the ones who require you to pay a hefty fee up front, and then require you to get a photo shoot with their agency's "exclusive" photographer, and then they never call you until 11 months have gone by, and then it's to remind you that next year's fee is due and oh, yes, time to update your photos.

Now, a lot of your opportunity, realistically, depends on where you live. If you're near a big media center, there will be lots and lots of opportunities to model. If you're in a second-tier metro area, not so many. If you're out in the country and can't get to a metro area, you got soris...

So now: look for modeling agencies in your phone directory. Call each of them and explain that you're interested in modeling. Ask them about fees. The legitimate ones will not require you to pay them in advance, they'll only take percentages of the money you earn while they represent you.

Also ask them which photo studios they recommend. You will have to pay hundreds of dollars to get a professional photo package; that's just the cost of doing business--but the legit agencies will give you several to choose from (assuming there are more than one in your area).

So get your photo package, and show up for any open auditions that those legit studios can offer. And what happens from there depends on if you have the look of a model.

It wouldn't hurt to take modeling lessons so you can learn something about how to walk, how to show, etc.
