Acting question !?

Question:Does university theater department prefer to receive a student

1. who can act very unique,hilarious,stylish and very good acting and have excellent voice projection and do some overacting on the stage. However, people might be able to understand 85% of his pronounciation as he is an international student, didn't use english for long time and he does drunk acting, also he might be able to make everyone laugh due amazing face expression and remember the performer several months or

2. excellent actor and could be called really good by everyone and he is a native english speaker, however doesn't really give an impression to people and not really unique(ordinary) and not really memorable in few days later.

Well, I'd prefer the first one, but that's just me. I always go for the more interesting and "out there" performer.
