Guitar good or bad?

Question:Im getting a guitar i dont know what to pay for it i found a site which seems reasonable but ive never heard of the make Encore.
Is it worth it or should i go elsewhere

go toa local musical instruments store. Discuss your needs, your budget with the sales person. Ask about this product and how it compares with others like it. Also, ask the music teacher at your school or the person who is going to teach you how to play the guitar what they think.

Hmmm, never heard of it either.
It "might" be OK, but if I were you, I'd get one of the Fender combo packages.
All Fenders are at least really good.
The Gibson ones are good too.

I would never buy a guitar online, sight unseen. You need to actually look at, check out, try out and listen to a guitar before you buy it -- and look at, check out and try a bunch of other guitars for comparison to see what sounds best and feels best in your hands.

Go to a reputable music store in your area (Guitar Center, or some other good store), bring a guitar playing friend with you if possible, and spend some time trying out as many different guitars as you can to find one that has the sound you like. That's the best way to buy a guitar.

NEVER buy a musical instrument online....especially if you are a beginner.
Go to your local music store and ask about the Fender Squier Stratocaster. They come in a "pack" which includes guitar, amplifier, lead and tuner.
They are good value for the money.
