Drums! canilearn?

Question:for those of you who knowabout drums is it possible for me to learn 4 timesa month for 4 months and know the basics and be good?

If you do it that way...it will take you much longer to learn honestly.

When I was 16...in the beginning of my metal drumming days.
I came straight home from school and practiced for
2 hours each day for 7 days a week. So I was nailing about 14 hours a week of drumming practice on that alone. I really started picking up more speed after my first year because I got the basic beats down, then I starged to work more on perfecting "fills & solos" more etc.

IF you really want to be a great drummer. You need to clamp down put & put in the time to do it. You get out of drumming what you put into it. If you don't put in 100% into your drumming...then don't expect nothing back in return.
