A high school student who needs help with professional arts?

Question:Okay,
I'm in High School, and here are the things that I am doing to become either a professional actor/singer (musical artist):

Drama, Chorus (Only to enhance my singing), and I have been playing a musical instrument since the 4th grade (mostly percussion)

Is there any way i can be noticed as an actor/singer?

Lol I'm doing the same thing. Alright, first and foremost, is there a professional performing arts group in your community? That would DEF get you noticed. Try out for every singing/acting role for plays/musicals as you are allowed to. Keep an eye in the newspapers for any audition updates or singer/actors wanted. Is there a performing center that usually hosts plays or musicals in your city? Don't be afraid to ask around. Someone might thinkg, "Wow, that one kid, Billy Bob, was wondering about acting and singing roles the other day, maybe I should tell him about this one...?" You never know...
I'm with you, us hopefuls will get our voices heard somehow. ;-)
