I love the phantom of the opera, especially when you go and see it live, I very much recommend that. Its so much different and personal when its live right in front of your face, you see it in a whole new perspective! AND ITS INCREDIBLE! But everytime I see it, it is very touching and beautiful and it Never gets old, no matter how many times I see it!

The songs are powerful and full of emotion. The show is amazing.

yes it is amazing, it just gets tiring to listen to ameteurs trying to pull off singing "Think of Me"

While I havent had the pleasure of seeing it live, my daughter, who was already in love with the movie, went and seen it live in Nov., and wept over how wonderful it was!!

I saw the original production, and it floored me.Can we be honest here? Screw"Cats","The Phantom of The Opera is a masterwork.I heard grumblings that the production was too"big" but anyone who says that misses the whole point.TPOTO is meant to be hugely theatrical because the interwoven stories cry ut for it and ,Oh Boy! Does it deliver.(LOVED the chanderler dropping !That was pure showmanship)it worked on every level and,as time has proved,it still has the power to enchant.Plus,I thought the film version was excellent(Emmy Rossum was a lovely Christine Daae)but, anyone who wants a good night of theater should see this one live. It's a knockout

I know how you feel. My parents got me interested in the musical when I was younger. I had to see it myself so I did about 2 years ago. It was one of the best nights I ever had. If you haven't already, you should see the 1925 movie and the 2004 version of the musical both which are amazing! If you like to read, I suggest the original book by Gaston Leroux and Phantom by Susan Kay.

Wow! What timing. I happen to be wearing my long-sleeved Phantom shirt from London as I type. I also saw it in August at Her Majesty's Theatre. However, while I adore the show (I saw it in Seattle in '91), I don't think that the current cast in London was really up to snuff.

It is the most wonderful musical I've seen. Everything is great: the scenery, clothes, music, voices, effects, lights...it has everything!

I think its the most beautiful thing I've ever seen...every single one of the characters are beautiful, the costumes, the wigs, the chandelier...EVERYTHING. Especially the music and especially The Phantom! It is such a beautiful story, a man who only wanted to be loved...he found love...love left him...so sad and haunting. I have seen it on Broadway countless times because my love and obsession grow with each passing day :-D
