If it was me I'd go for the Ibanez because I love 'em.

But.... it's for you so............ you should try 'em all out or take someone who can play and ask them to "road test" them.

One thing though is that beginner guitars these days are generally very good - way better than the crapola I learnt on 30 years ago - and all of these guitars will pretty much perform equally as well. The upshot of that is that it's probably going to come down to what it looks like. So you need to choose pointy or traditional really.

When you go to the store get a good deal from them and ask for a strap or lead or a pack of strings to go along with the axe. You may get something extra thrown in.

Good luck with learning!!

Keep on rockin' in the free world.

I play bass and I prefer Ibanez. I owuld go and play them all and see what feels right to you!

Rock on!

I have owned several guitars including a B. C. Rich. Here's the deal. Warlocks actually do sound good for metal, but most people don't like them because they say they look weird. If you buy one try to find a deal on a platinum series. Not just because they are better, but because you will get a little more respect. The thing about guitars is that no matter how bad they really are you can always customize them with new pickups, hardware, even paint to make them fit you.

That's the key, you need to find whatever fits you. Find something comfortable. I have found that I am seldom happy when other people chose my instruments, only wiser. Listen and learn from people but don't be pressured by them.

If you are worried about price go ahead and buy a cheaper one, as long as it is comfortable. Like I said, you can always customize it later. I have done this with many guitars, and in most cases I have made them much better than what I could have afforded in the stores.

One of the best things a guitar player can do is learn how to customize an instrument.

More to do with your question, I honestly don't have any complaints about any of those choices, so go play them. Once you do, the decision will be a lot easier.

Get the Ibanez RG350MDX Electric Guitar. Wow that is a sweet looking guitar. I might get that now or something similar to it. Lol but even though most likely you think it's gay but I would (and did) get a acoustic first. The strings are harder to push down and farther apart (I think). Lol you got the same taste as me. (Classic Rock and Metal). If you can play acoustic you can electric but if you play electric you can't necessarily play acoustic. Well, some people would disagree but I think that play acoustic in the beginning has more adv that electric. Yes, it may look pansy sometimes but it helps so much in the long run. (and it's alot cheaper). Callouses faster = play faster faster (lol) If your going to stick to electric then get the Ibanez RG350MDX Electric Guitar.
