I also know that I would have to practice a lot and effeciently for my efforts to count. So my problem now is how can I read the music faster and more accurately. My peers seem to be able to do that without sweat because they have privite lessons. Can someone give me a way to practice so i can better read the music? Also, I think that my bowing has room for improvement. Is there a techique I can use to have a better touch? The first and easiest way for you to get some help is to sit down with your friends and get them to show you what they learned. You'll be doing them a favor since teaching is really just the last stage of the learning process, and by teaching you what they know, they will be prioritizing it in their own minds. (and of course getting the benefit of practicing it again without realizing it!) There are many sites on the internet that will help to some degree. I stuck a few down below, but there are many others. I hope this gets your started.
