Anybody Knows what an Erhu is???

Question:i just wonder how come when playing an Erhu, it sounds soo sad??, the sound it produce makes you feel sad???...why??? its sound beautiful but sad at the same time, im confused.

it's just what the instrument sounds like...that's what makes it so beautiful, that it can make you feel two emotions at the same time.
