YES!!!!!!!!!! I find it highly disrespectful when they sing it like it's the latest thing in pop. Sing it as it's written or don't sing it at all. When I have sung it, I sing it straight, no frills. People are there to watch the game, not listen to a bad American Idol audition. I don't care WHO you are. Sing it right. oh god yes yes it can be just as pretty without 50,000 trills sometimes it seems like the really overdo it and kill the beauty of the song It's disrespectful. |
