What should I use for instrumentals for "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Fri

Question:I wanted to sing "Diamond's Are a Girl's Best Friend" for a concert at my school, and I wanted to have a small band accompanying... however, I'm not sure exactly what instruments I should use (guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, etc.). Any ideas?

Piano, Bass and drums are the best "backup" instruments to use. It offers the entire variety of sounds without taking away from the soloist. It is kind of a "lounge act" sound, but it is the easiest thing to have without a large band.

Not sure, you are gonna get compared to a car insurace advert whatever you do.

Piano....and you can be the sultry piano lounge singer in a sparkly dress....put a big snifter on the top of the piano with a few dollars in it for effect.
