Elphaba's hat .. .?

Question:Where can I get (or how could I make) a good replica of Elphaba's hat and broom? Help will be appreciated.

For the broomstick, I would check in a craft store, sometimes they will have something or at least something you could work with, then spray paint it dark.
For the hat, to make it, maybe use black material, dark tag board(posterboard), a good glue, and spray adhesive. Cut a large circle in one piece of tag board for the hat brim, then cut the hole for your head so it fits inside. Trim to the size diameter you want the hat brim to stick out. Second piece of tag board, cut a LARGE half circle, then bring the straight egde together to form the cone. Fit the cone to the inside and glue the cone in the right shape. Before piecing it together, use spray adhesive to attach the material to all visable sides. Finally attach the brim and cone pieces together with a sturdy hot glue or craft glue.

her hat is just black cloth, u could buy a hat like that, but it can't bend. her broom would be so hard to get and expensive.. i dont think u could buy one.

I think the best way to replicate that would be looking at some pictures and going to a party store, or any store near Halloween, and picking out a good match. You could find pictures on wickedthemusical.com. the only replicas im aware of was that you could buy green emerald city glasses on that website.

hey i am a huge wicked fan and idina menzel is one of my role modles well i say to get her hat just but one but it is black cloth and kind of tilt the rim or wear it on the side becuase that is how she wears it and for the broom just use a regular one but make sure that it is all tan and not like a green handle or anything and it would be better if the broom didnt have placstic brissles and then take sisors and cut different peices in the straw almost like giving it layers for a real effect curmn the very tip but be really careful and be ready to throw water on it fast haha also bend the bristles so it looks old and used and there you have it ELPHIES BROOM hope this helps
