Steps to become a rockstar?

Step two: Have connections
Step three: Have determination
Step four: Have perseverance

Seriously...one thing is I'd try to do it with the least amount of people as possible. If you were a hot guitarist for example, use session guys or don't keep the same band-mates. Keep it turning over because if it depends on keeping everyone together, the odds are greatly reduced IMO.
