Acting opportunities in the dallas fort worth area?

Question:i want to make it big in hollywood, but i know that i have to start off small in a smaller area.. anyone know where i could find good opportunities for an acting job (even if its for extras)? what about modeling?

i wouldn't really go with modeling. um does ur communinty have plays, musicals? try out 4 the school play. check out the communinty college and c if they have anything. and also DONT GIVE UP! im also in ur situation. i do musicals, plays. but my school only has 1 musical a year. :(. and my town doesnt have acting classes or anything in that proffesion. well at least i live in la.
