I teach classical and acoustic guitar so of course my answer is to have a private teacher, or go to a weekly guitar lesson. If you can't afford that today they have a lot of great sites online, some have tutors, others have DVD's, Cd's, videos, and books that have tapes. Here are a few, some have free lessons to begin with others have things that you have to pay for....at the end I'll give you some of the free guitar sites but I'm not too crazy about them....remember that saying you get what you pay for....well to me that's how those sites are....their not very complete....you be the judge !!!!!!!!!

I don't like tab, I'd much ratter see you read music notation....give it a try, it's not that hard !!!!!! And reading music will make you a much better guitar player !!!!!!!!!
