Want to sing and act?

Question:I'm a girl about 14. I sing, & I love acting. I live in a small town, & I've been in a few local things, & I've been in Highschool plays with smaller roles. I sing in Choir, & whenever i get the chance too in front of other people. Where i live there's not many people who give voice lessons so i'm trying very hard to train myself. I love being in front of crowds.

I just don't know where I can put myself and how to do that. Any real advice? Thanks

your voice is pretty, but you definitely need training.

show business is extremely difficult, I can't give you any advice except don't give up if it's really what you want to do.

Unless your family is willing to relocate or drive you to a larger city, there isn't a whole lot you can do right now. Just act as much as possible, and either concentrate on straight plays or get voice lessons - your voice is pretty, but you don't have the control to do well in professional musical theatre yet. When you can drive, you'll have the option of acting in larger cities and getting more exposure, but the biggest thing now is to get as much training as possible and make sure you're ready for it :).
