Sure. Especially if you're in a show that's having a long run. I used to practice for shows, but I'd play pieces that weren't in the show (I was working in the pit orchestra).

no. i live and breath performing. i can't get tired of it. or bored of it. that can ruin your dream and life of performing.

Bored no,burnt out yes.

I agree with Earl D--bored, no, burned out, yes.
I don't get bored performing for others. Ever. Performing is my way of communicating where words fail.

When it's just myself, I do get burned out. I have to be able to separate myself from the practice objectively so I don't get bored and know what I need to change for the next time. That's a tough challenge. Sometimes I throw in technique etudes now and then to make practices a little better.

I did in College when I was studying opera. I have found that if I couple my meaty stuff with doing stuff that just makes me happy, I get re-energized.

yes... after the first 2 times... performing something get boring =/
