What do you call a person who dubs?

They are calles dubbing artists. If you have got a great voice, you can become one.

do you mean like a voice-over artist? i don't know how old you have to be to do that but you probably have to join some sort of actors union or union of voice-over artists, maybe? sorry, probably not much help!

You mean like when we import a French film and use Americans to do the talking.

It can nor cannot be a SAG job.

If a private presenter brings it over and dubs it before a studio picks it up it can go non-union

But when the studio picks it up the voice actors can probably taft-hartley into SAG or be eligible for SAG

When it's done by a studio you probably have to be in SAG to do the work.
