I answered this already in a different section, but I'll answer again! This time I'll say which recording I like best. {Like revival or OBC. Yes, I'm bored. x]....}

Assassins {Depends on the song....I like the revival a little better, though.}

Avenue Q {Only one recording}

Evita {OBC definitely. The movie version is not very good.}

Into the Woods {The OBC is the best, but iTunes only has a partial album, if you buy them from iTunes.}

Jekyll & Hyde {Only one recording}

Les Miserables {All the recordings are pretty good, just depends on your personal taste I guess.}

The Phantom of the Opera {OBC. Stay away from the movie}

Sunday in the Park with George {I prefer the OBC, but some of the chorus pieces are very good in the revival.}

Sweeney Todd {I loooooove the revival! The OBC is ok, too. But definitely stay away from the movie}

West Side Story {I prefer the movie soundtrack, but it's a matter of personal taste}

Spring Awakening, Jersey Boys

The Lion King. Many happy listenings there.
I suggest getting something you've seen! Because then it's more personal.
