Ignore Grace O's suggestions: Pajama Game isn't bad but music from Wicked, Rent and Chicago is tougher. I've only started listening to Legally Blonde in the last week or so but sounds like it's at least moderately difficult. Stick with the traditional shows and you should be good. Rogers and Hammerstein is your best bet, while Irving Berlin, and Gershwin are other options. Hope that helps, let me know what you decide to do would you? well I am an alto and I did easy street from "Annie" Any song for: Pajama Game- Babe Wicked- Elphaba Rent- all female characters are either mezzo-soprano or alto Legally Blonde- Paulette ( I don't think the books out for it yet though) Chicago- Velma |
