Which guitar should I get:Les Paul or an Explorer?

Question:I was thinking about this because i know both guitars are kick *** and just deciding which one to get.Hmmmmm...I say the possiblities are endless.I'm just thinking which one I could play better if I were to play live.

if ur playing live, both guitars are gonna sound good and be comfortable to play. practicing with the explorer while sitting down is a pain. also i heard the explorer wasn't balanced well? go with the les paul. ive seen more pro's use it than explorers.

Go to the store and test them out yourself. If you have experience as a guitarist already, then that is probably the best thing to do.

Les Paul Studio is awesome .. the Explorer, not sure if they still make it. It wasn't a big seller and the body is really awkward. If you like to play standing up and never sit, then buy an explorer.
It will never come even close to the Les Paul Sound in any way shape or form.....more metallic whereas LP Studio , ahs a fatter sound.
