For the best advice. Go to yahoo.com & in the search engine. Type in these exact words

"Recording Studios in (your local city) Ohio"

And you should get a bunch of local
local Recording Studios listings in Ohio
from that search.
It's totally free and doesnt cost you anything.
Good luck

It's EXPENSIVE

$25-$100 an hour from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.

Other than that it looks like your basement with carpets on the floor and curtians on the walls.

If they are really, really, really good (an really expensive) they have at least one good mic.

If you're a singer, don't even go to a studio that doesn't have:

U-47 Tube (first choice)
C-12 (second choice)
U-89 FET (third choice)
U-87 Tube (fourth)

AT-4011/4044
U-47 or U-87 FET
AKG C-414

Chesty male singers and drummers look for

plus an RE20
and D12/D120
M59/M60

Acoustic pianist look for a grand and a

C-24

Check their mic lists, it's a waste of money if they don't have any of the top list and some of the bottom list.
