most people's first solo they learn is the Stairway to Heaven solo. this is true for me too. it is one of the best solos ever and it mixes a lot of guitar techniques in and teaches a person a lot of things about how to play and structure a solo. it isnt difficult, with practice, anyone can play it.

also, david gilmour(of pink floyd) has some reallly good solos that are easy. my first david gilmour solo i learned is the one for another brick in the wall part II.

black sabbath, tony iommi, solos are easy too. some hendrix, like all along the watch tower, is easy too.

kurt cobain's(nirvana) smells like teen spirit solo is probably the easiest of the ones i have mentioned so far.

in my opinion, there isnt really a solo that is impossible for anyoneto do except for those fast, shredding solos in metal music and hard rock and such.

also, the guy above me who said u should make up ur own, he's partly right, and partly wrong. because its easy for anyone to make up anything but its hard for them to make up something good. the solos you wanna learn are solos done by professionals and these solos are already good so you dont have to worry about writing good music. its not as easy as it looks...

composing solos or improvising solos requires a guitarist to know all the notes on the fretboard, know the scales and modes( ionian, dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian, locrian), and how all these scales and notes work together in phrases.

so, learn a couple of solos that help you understand the basics and structures of soloing and techniques and when u master the basics, learn the scales and modes and study the fretboard and begin learning how to improvise.

Just make up some of your own. Those are the easiest.

There are some instructional videos on Youtube. My favorite guitar solo tune is "Wildwood Flower", and I know that is on there.

same here man. I suggest the solos for The Anthem by Good Charlette( spelling) and the solo from Smells like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, those are some pretty easy solos.
