What I am about to give you is an awesome piece called "El Delirio." Good luck. There is a video on youtube with a performance. Yet I feel you won't be able to play.

However, should you not like it, the second website is an archive that contains multitudes of Classical Guitar Music, from Fernando Sor to Tarrega and etc. I say Fernando Sor for the moment, one of his etudes will suffice.

Don't forget that if you have great picking ability to try one of Paganini's Caprices. No. 24 is on the site I gave you, its nice all the way around yet good luck with the ending. If you're good with sweeps, then you will have it made.

ok, well i played guitar only for 3 weeks when i was 7 and i'm 13 now so i don't know much. But my mum who can play classical guitar (kind of) did teach me this song. it's called Romance and it sounds hard but if i could play a little part of it with no experience at 7 years old how hard can it be?

hope this helped.

See if you can find the sheet music for Claude Bolling's "Suite for Guitar and Jazz Trio". It's written as a classical-jazz hybrid piece, so it would be great for someone who can play blues scales and has a good basic right-hand finger-picking technique.

The Concerto for Guitar by Joachim Rodrigo is another good choice- the first movement has flamenco-inspired playing styles, and the second movement will be familiar to you if you know the Chick Corea song "Spain".

As for sight-reading, most college-level programs will start by giving you a simple piece (not more than 1-2 positions and using mostly quarter and eight notes); if you can handle that, they'll give you a tougher one. To practice sight-reading, just get as much guitar music as you can and simply practice it! (The more literature you know, the better you will recognize common patterns in music when sight -reading.)

I would wander over to the guitar school of Iceland and pick out something hat speaks to you

You can find the Romance (Romanza) if you want to play that

You can also find the 25 etudes of Carcassi

and enough other music to keep you engaged for the next couple of years. You can use it with impunity for your audition because the moderators on the site have given you permission to use these works for educational purposes.

Oh, in case you haven't noticed, these are all free downloads and they are all in PDF format, very clean and easy to read.

Once you get through all of this, wander over to Delcamp.net, join their forum and post at least two messages with some substance to them, and you will discover another ten thousand pages or so, of free music, inPDf format, carefully categorized and sorted into levels for your edification and enlightenment.

If you can't find anything on these two sites, give me a shout. I know of about thirty others. Hope this helps.

Tarrega's Requerdos De La Alhambra is my suggestion!
