Im Starting a band Please help me out...?

Question:Ok well I am Starting a band with My Friend i have already made songs before by myself i Sing and Play Guitar but we want to start a band all he does is play guitar to he has a guitar so hes gonna sing and play guitar to but we dont know what to do about a drummer posting signs around isnt gonna work we also have no Bass Player so i dont know what to do we are both 14 Please help also some tips if you have any if you live in New Hampshire either contact me please www.myspace.com/NuttinButAHoodThang if your interested in joining ages 11-15 Thx

you should go around your school or your block and ask kids your age or around that. you could put up fliers anywhere and have a trieout.

Well, if you don't find anyone trough your myspace you can ask for people in you're school or go to the local music academy. There is sufficient talent !!

Bands are a dime a dozen. Don't waste time doing covers, write your own material and practise until it is perfect. It is tough to get a band together that has no personality conflicts, and that has the right equipment. If you can get a drummer and a bassist that can sing as well, it would be a big help with the depth of your vocals. Once you write enough material, and practise it until it becomes second nature, you are ready to seek a sponser to help you get the equipment you will need.
