They also make a silent instrument series, where you can plug the instrument into headphones and even add spatial effects. Rather than recommend a single electric Violin, here is a link to a shop that sells both electric, acoustic electric, and even left handed (I know that this is heresy but the world does not run by the dictates of Classical Society anymore. There are now Violins being made for everyone and every taste and I choose to celebrate this fact) and five string instruments!
