Then you're a bass player short of having a band (unless you're the White Stripes).

Saw your add'l info...

If it's plugged in and the volume is up, the strings could ring. If it's cranked up loud enough, it might feed back. If it's got cheap pickups, they might pick up the drums like a microphone because the vibrations of the drums could make the windings in the pickup coils vibrate.

It's always best to turn the volume knob all the way down on your guitar when you're not playing -- when you put it on the stand, when you're wearing it between songs, etc. That avoids sloppy noises from occurring.

No, nothing will happen to your electric guitar if someone plays drums next to it unless your guitar is leaning against the drum set and is knocked over from the vibrations on the drum set. Most bands do have a drummer and a guitarest hun.

i would avoid it, but if you have to, tell the drummer to watch out for it. remember, treat your instrument(s) like glass
i play in a band, it is not really a problem unless the drummer has butter fingers

Should be the other way round. If you play too bassy, his snares are gonna get on his nerve.

Don't worry, no harm will come to your guitar. If you plug the guitar in and someone plays, then you may hear the strings vibrating very slightly, but that's about all your going to get. if your worried about your guitar, move it away from the drum kit.
