What is your favorite Broadway show...and why??

OMG my favorite was the Lion King too! I saw it almost a dozen times and I still cant wait for the next time they perform it.

I'd tie between Lion King and Wicked. The effects in Wicked were amazing, and I love the songs. I'm also a big fantasy lover, so I adored the plot line.

Hairspray and Wicked have AMAZING music!

I have seen Phantom, cats, Les Mis and Miss Saigon and my favorite by far is phantom, i saw Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman though. Les Mis is a close second

rent becuz it was so thrilling to watch ppls lives matbe real to sum ppl played out like that nd it made me cry nd i never cryed watching something before.

Phantom of the Opera! It's a classic story about love can really change a person. The music is beautiful and Andrew Lloyd Webber was (I say was because now he is planning on doing a sequel >:O) a genius in composing it.

I want to go see The Phantom of the Opera with one of my guy friends one of these days. I've only ever seen Cats and it was a live broadcast on TV. I can't see too many Broadway plays from Louisiana.

Let's see....I love Sweeney Todd. Amazing story, dark humour, and beautiful music.

I also love The Phantom of the Opera. It's so sad, but it's sooo amazing. {I hate the idea of a sequel.}

i also love the lion king, i saw it on my 1st night in New York, and it was sooo beautiful... lol i almost cried at the beginnig!
but i also love wicked and the phantom of the opera. wicked, because i laughed the whole time, the phantom cause the story was so pure, and i fell in love with the phantom. lol

Phantom of the Opera. oh my gosh, the music is so beautiful, the scenes are gorgeous and the plot is so amazing. Also i think it's not, i hate to say this, but ridiculous as other musicals because they're in an opera, singing anyway.
I also really like Wicked, and Les Mis.
