Pros and contras, etc. Musicmasterpro jamorama vguitarcourses etc. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing as good as a private teacher, but I know that it's impossible for some to go for weekly lessons, and for others it's not affordable. Some of these sites want you to buy their Cd's, DVDs, videos, and some have the live tutors....I play and teach classical and acoustic guitar so I haven't taken these courses but I've checked them out, and if I was just starting guitar I would certainly appreciate these sites !!!!!!! Fall in love with songs...or muses...or styles....or whatever... Meet another player who shares your love... Play!...Just spend every moment playing! Immerse yourself in the art of what you are doing!...Do not ever think of it as a mere ability!...Think of it always as an art!!!! Never ever think of doing a 'course'.....these are manipulations by people who have never 'played' a guitar in their lives! I have never had a lesson in my life. I may be questionable...I may even be debatable....but I am a guitarist...and I am a musician. I can play music in my way...even other peoples music becomes mine in my hands! What I am saying is this...the best training course is the one that teaches you to trust yourself! This one worked for me, but i have to say the real fun i had was when I got the Beatles Book, all their songs are basically 3 chords and they are all great tunes:) there no comparision, private lessons |
