The flute is a little hard. Try the clarinet. I play the viola though. Which is like the violin except bigger and has a deeper sound.

Go for it

i play the guitar and its really easy you should try to learn to play it

i play guitar, piano and drums

you just have to learn it and dont give up when its hard

i play the flute.

I played the viola I liked it. it was not hard to learn. I really wanted to play the saxaphone becasue I like the way it sounds. I think the flute is a great idea to play it does not seem it will be hard to play or hard to learn.

yea sure.. maybe trumpet? I dunno.. just tossing suggestions..

I play guitar, piano, drums, and bass. I don't really like band instruments so I couldnt help you with that part.

I like the Eb soprano clarinet (that's the little one). I don't like flutes because you have to hold them sideways. I think saxophones sound ugly. Oboes are cool, though. I'd recommend either an oboe or an Eb clarinet.

I had some friends that played the flute, & they said it took A LOT of breath, & a girl almost passed out, but if you're dedicated, it'll get you some good benefits throughout high school & maybe some college scholarships. I played clarinet & had a wonderful time. It was easy to grasp the basics of, & it was lightweight, but most of all, it was FUN. & I tried the French Horn. The French Horn was HARD, but it sounds AMAZING. Go forrr it.

I began with the Viola and moved to the Violin, Cello, Bass and believe it or not Trombone. Once you love the music it begins to take you to many new places - ride the wave!

I found the violin hard as you have to make the notes and get them right else the music is squeaky. Fine once you know how to play. So carry on.

how about an instrument where the notes come just by blowing. if you ahve played the recorder then try a clarinet as they use violin parts in a band.

If you want to play violin music on a wind instrument then a flute or oboe are best as they are in the key of C.

I used to play guitar, now i'm learning piano, guitar was easy, and piano is proving to be quite easy for me so far...

i played the trumpit for a long time teh piano and the fiddle and teh tub*sigh... teh country music gotta love it...* flute is a little hard ive tried it but it just takes practice try a bass insterment

I play the flute, clarenet, and sax., the flute is the hardest with the fingurings, note reading, and the abusure and all that, but the flute is the cheapest because there is no need to buy reeds, The clarenet is easyist, then alto sax, then tenor!

I played the viola from 4th to 8th grade. It was fairly simple to learn. You'd probably know that since it's not much different from a violin. But I did enjoy playing it and if I had my own viola, I'd probably still play in my free time. I've tried to learn guitar and piano, but it's just too complicated for me to catch onto, I guess.

I assume you want to keep with the same cleff, which will be easier. The flute sounds like a good idea, because it will be diverse, but why not cello? They're both on the trebble cleff, however you will be more familiar with the cello so it may be easier (they're much more similar then, say, the violin or flute). Or maybe for a challenge, why not the Viola? It's a different cleff (alto cleff), though violists are more in demand and it's similar to the violin. It's what I play.
Edit: If you play so many instruments...why do you want to learn more? Why spread yourself thin? If I was you, I would focus on the three you know and become very good on them. Wouldn't you rather be a brilliant pianist and violinist, then an okish violinist, pianist, harpist, flut-ist??(what do you call a flute player?), etc...

if you are starting a new instrument pick the clarinet. i enjoy it and it doesn't make you stretch your arms as much. also it is easier and easier to blow into. try the recorder like just buy own at the dollar store and see if you like that and if you do go with the clarinet. If not go with the flute. Good luck and pleaze pick me as best answer!!

I play the flute!! it is ALOT of fun. I've been playing it for about 4 years now, and it rocks. you should definatley play it!

I play the clarinet. It is actually quite easy instrument to learn. Once you get used to playing a reeded instrument it starts to get easier. I love playing the clarinet because it is the best! Flute is fun to play but its harder to play than a reeded instrument. and If you don't like the idea of a clarinet then try another reeded instrument.

OMG I PLAY ALL THOSE INSTRUMENTS AND MORE.
HEY IF YOU WANNA AND GOT IT THEN GO ALL FOR IT.

HAVE FUN

I play violin to and it rulez!!!!!!!!!!!!! And its very easy and super fun!!!!! I can even play the Super Mario theme on it! (Oh yeah!)
