I've got a couple.
The latest one happened early in the month when we were getting ready to march in our Christmas parade. Two kids were horse playing and one of them threw the other into the back of this man's van, putting a huge dent into it. The kid who threw the other, was charged and ordered to pay back the man and he was also kicked out of band.

Our band director is a born-again Christian and he doesn't like to cuss, especially in front of us. So one day during band camp while we were out on the practice field, He got really frustrated and almost said God D*** it, but he caught himself and what came out was "God...Bless America." Everyone was cracking up and then only us pit players heard him say, later on, "Son of a... dog gone biscuit eater." We are never gonna let him down. Every year at our banquets, some one's gotta bring up that one day.

We've had several fights happen, bus jokes and such that and forthwith. You've never been in a band until you've join mine.

i haven't been in MB for 4 years so I can't remember my favorite story but I sure do remember my worst memory lol. We had over 200 people in our MB and we were all supposed to scatter in the beginning of the first song and then get into straight lines. I knew which line I was supposed to be in but for some reason (and this had never happened at practice!) I couldn't find the spot I was in so I walked up and down that one line at least 3 times (I was the only one out of formation during that time) until I finally found it. I was completely horrified and cried afterwards...oh well lol.

Just a few weeks ago, we were marching for our town's Christmas parade. After we had marched all through town, one of the buses that was taking the brass section back to our original stop suddenly hit a parked car! And then it backed up and crunched it again! All the tubas had to get on the same bus as the flutes. It was rather crowded, but people couldn't stop laughing about it!

Hmm....
My favorite memories of college marching band was basically BEING in college marching band. It was a huge difference than high school.

But, once in high school, we were on the bus to go march in a parade in November. Suddenly we hit a huge bump, hear the loudest shriek, feathers fly past windows, and a GOBBLE...yeah, the bus driver hit a TURKEY. That was hilarious.
