How do I can i get a 1 on a 45 degree saber toss in winterguard?

Question:I can do a two in a breeze, but i'm having trouble with a one. I just can't seem to get it. I can only get it down to a one and a half? And my goal is a three, but my instructor says i can't do a three until i do a one. Can anyone give me advice on how to get it down? Btw, i'm not afraid of the saber at all so give any tips you can give me please.

Ok, this is tricky, but it can be done. All you have to do, is well, you know where to put your hands right? Well, all you have to do, is move your right hand more twords the right. And when you throw, don't use so much force.
