Sorry Katie, there is no short cut. Practice until your fingers hurt, then stop. You don't want to damage them so bad you have to stop playing for a few days. But you also need to practice enough so you get your callouses back. No pain, no gain.

theyre called callouses
and they only way to get them is by playin

do alot of finger exersizes and play alot. if u practice bout 30 min each day yoour fingers will stop hurting after bout a week but keep playing cus the callusous will go away if you dont

Keep practicing and take breaks when it hurts a lot.

You can help get callouses by wetting your fingertips with rubbing alcohol every night before you go to bed and let them dry.

Hang in there and it will get better.

I basically practice a little by a little each day. Don't practice to the point where your finger's skin start to hurt, because then you won't be able to play it for sometime. What you need is consistent practice, not play till your fingers are blistered and then you have to stop practicing for a few days to let it heal.

Practice consistently, not long hours straight.
