Odd question. Are you a righty or a lefty? If, for some reason, you don't know, have someone drop something right in front of you, and ask you to pick it up. Whatever hand you use, will tell you what you are. Geez, this is pretty basic!

Get a guitar that corresponds to the hand you use. Chances are, you're a righty especially since your left hand naturally goes to the neck. Good luck, man.

right handed guitar then

right

right it is harder to find left handed anyway.

p.s maybe you could help me to?

get a right if that's how your comfortably holding it naturally then your a Right and lefty is hard to find

Sounds like you are a righty. Are you a lefty for other stuff?

You may want to go to a guitar store and try holding some and seeing which is more comfortable. Or if you have a friend that plays see if you can try theirs and see how it feels lefty or righty.

That is the correct way. i am left-handed (check my pseudo name) but decided to play the right way.
If you hold it that way, that is the correct way. Plus, by being left handed, you will have more strength in the hand to do pull-off and quick playing.

There are two approaches really. If you're left handed, play a left handed guitar. The only problem with that is 99% of the time if you hook up to jam and you don't have a guitar with you, you won't be playing.

If you learn right handed, your pretty much guaranteed that wherever you go, you'll be able to pick up a guitar and play.

buy a right handed guitar. this will allow you to fret with your left hand. Also, right handed guitars are cheaper than their left handed counterparts. Not all guitars are available in left handed models either. It's best for everyone to play a right handed guitar right handed in my opinion. If you're going acoustic, it won't matter unless you buy a guitar with a cutaway
