Can vintage strat tuners fit into a Squire headstock?

Question:I have a squire neck and I want to put some vintage tuners on it . The holes look large and I don't know if vintage style will fit.

Yes, they are all standard. The screw holes on the back may not line up, but they all fit the headstock. Even the "oversized" headstock has the same tuner holes.

cant say for sure but hell...its not that big of a deal to try it out if you have the parts with you. otherwise, scan around on some fender sites or somewhere at sells the machine heads and find exact specs.

depends how vintage, 70s strats had these oversized headstocks that may have had oversized tuners that wouldnt fit, otherwise your good
