Position:Home>Performing Arts> Anyone have ideas for musical titles for cookbook sections?Question:I'm making a family cookbook for my musician daughter and want to title each section in musical terms. I thought I'd call appetizers the Prelude and the dessert section the Finale or Encore, vegetables or side dishes, I thought could be Accompaniments, but any ideas for other sections? I also have soups, salads, main dishes , breads and miscellaneous. Thanks for any help! Maybe the salad or soups could be the Overture, as this is the music before a show, but gives a hint of things to come. If you have a section for casseroles, you could label it "a cappella" since it is a stand alone dish and does not need accompaniment. You could call the meat section "Theme and Variation" and then divide that section by specific meats. When I got married, my wife and I were happy to have just the basic chicken, turkey kind of recipe and then you could follow with the variations of each meat. My little 3-month old is screaming - I will think about it some more! Sounds like a fun idea! SLIDE ALONG WITH ME: (After this add the titles showing the different dishes/coruses u's offering!!!) |
