The order of the sharps for A scale on the flute is F#, C#, G#.
(E is not sharp!)

to get the key signature of a key, you have to take the name of the key (which is A in this case) and go down a note letter (so A goes to G). That note letter will be the LAST sharp in the key...if you remeber the order of the sharps (F#, C#, G#, D#, A#, E#, B#) and you know that the last sharp is G# ..then the keysignature for A major has a F#, C#, and G#. :D Hope that helped!
